Ryanair flight warning as ‘high winds’ hit major UK airports | Travel News | Travel

Ryanair has issued a flight warning for British tourists as “high winds” could cause disruption for travellers on January 31.

An airline spokesperson said: “Potential disruptions to and from the UK on Wednesday, January 31 due to high winds.

“Affected passengers will be notified and any passengers travelling to and from the UK on Wednesday, January 31 should check their Ryanair app for the latest updates on their flight.

“We regret any inconvenience caused to passengers by these weather conditions which are outside of Ryanair’s control and affect all airlines operating to and from the UK on Wednesday, January 31.”

Ryanair passengers should check the website for updates although affected passengers should be contacted by the airline.

The Met Office warned that the north would face “heavy rain and strong winds” on January 31.

Scotland is currently under a yellow weather warning for wind as are parts of northern England.

Parts of Northern Ireland are also covered by the yellow weather warning for wind with blustery conditions expected.
